CMV x Dorado: Cashew Processing Expansion in Tanzania
Cashew Machines Vietnam (CMV) strengthens its strategic partnership with Dorado, supporting the development of a major cashew processing project in Tanzania with a planned capacity of up to 140,000 MT per year.
Dorado Expands Cashew Processing Operations into Tanzania
Dorado, one of the leading companies in large-scale cashew processing, currently operates a facility with a processing capacity of 150,000 MT per year in Côte d’Ivoire. Building on its established operations, the company is expanding its processing capabilities into Tanzania through a new large-scale industrial project.
The Tanzania expansion is planned in two phases. Phase 1, currently underway, targets a combined processing capacity of 70,000 MT of raw cashew nuts (RCN) per year across two factories. Phase 2 is expected to further expand the project’s total processing capacity to 140,000 MT per year.
This investment reflects Dorado’s long-term commitment to expanding its processing capabilities and strengthening its presence in Africa’s cashew industry.

Site Visit and Installation Preparations
As part of the ongoing collaboration, Mr. Ethan Truong, Director of Cashew Machines Vietnam (CMV), recently visited Dorado’s facility in Tanzania to assess site readiness and coordinate preparations for the upcoming installation of the cashew processing systems.
The visit provided an opportunity for both teams to review facility conditions, discuss technical requirements, and align on the next stages of project implementation.
With Phase 1 targeting the start of operations in Q2 2027, site preparation and installation coordination remain key priorities as the project moves toward its next development stage.

Delivering Integrated Cashew Processing Solutions
As Dorado’s technology partner, CMV is providing a customized, fully integrated cashew processing solution tailored to the project’s operational requirements and production objectives.
Designed for high-capacity industrial operations, the solution focuses on production efficiency, equipment reliability, and long-term scalability.
Beyond equipment supply, CMV’s involvement includes technical coordination, installation preparation, and ongoing support throughout the project’s implementation.
Through this approach, CMV aims to support Dorado in establishing efficient and reliable processing operations while preparing for future capacity expansion.
Strengthening a Long-Term Strategic Partnership
The collaboration between CMV and Dorado represents a shared commitment to advancing large-scale cashew processing through reliable technology and long-term cooperation.
CMV would like to express its sincere appreciation to Mr. Venkatesan Rajkumar, Chairman of Dorado, for placing his trust in CMV’s technology and selecting CMV as the technology partner for this important project.
As preparations continue, CMV looks forward to working closely with Dorado to support the successful implementation of Phase 1 and the project’s future expansion.
Together, both companies aim to contribute to the continued development of Tanzania’s cashew processing industry and the growth of value-added agricultural processing in the region.
