CMV x Sunbeth: Preparing an 80,000 MT/Year Cashew Processing Plant in Nigeria
CMV is continuing its work with Sunbeth Global Concepts on a new 80,000 MT/year cashew processing facility in Nigeria, with the project progressing toward machinery installation and commissioning in 2027.
Sunbeth Global Concepts is an African agro-commodity company with operations across Nigeria, Ghana, and Cameroon. The company is expanding its focus from commodity trading into integrated agro-processing, including investments in new cocoa and cashew processing facilities in Nigeria.
As construction progresses, the CMV team recently visited the project site to follow the development of the new facility and prepare for the upcoming installation of the cashew processing system.
A New 80,000 MT/Year Cashew Processing Facility
The new facility is designed to process 80,000 metric tons of raw cashew nuts (RCN) per year, adding significant processing capacity to Nigeria’s cashew industry.
Alongside the cashew facility, Sunbeth is also developing a 70,000 MT/year cocoa processing plant. Together, these projects represent a significant investment in large-scale agro-processing infrastructure in Nigeria.
According to Sunbeth, both facilities are currently under construction, with commissioning scheduled for March 2027.
As the technology partner, CMV is providing a fully integrated cashew processing solution designed for high-capacity industrial operations.
Preparing for Installation
With construction progressing, CMV is working closely with Sunbeth to prepare the facility for the upcoming installation phase.
The recent site visit allowed the CMV team to follow construction progress and coordinate with the project team ahead of the installation of the cashew processing system.
With commissioning scheduled for March 2027, the project is now moving toward the next stage of implementation.
Supporting Nigeria’s Cashew Processing Industry
The new facility will add modern processing capacity in Nigeria and contribute to the development of value-added cashew processing closer to the source of raw materials.
For CMV, the project is another opportunity to bring Vietnamese engineering and cashew processing technology to a major cashew-producing market in Africa.
As the project moves forward, CMV will continue working closely with Sunbeth Global Concepts to support the installation and commissioning of the new processing system.
