CMV & Afri Ventures: New Cashew Processing Factory in India

Cashew Machines Vietnam (CMV) recently attended the inauguration of Afri Ventures’ new cashew processing facility in Andhra Pradesh, India. With an annual capacity of 20,000 metric tons of raw cashew nuts (RCN), the project marks another milestone in Afri Ventures’ international expansion and its long-standing partnership with CMV.

Afri Ventures Strengthens Its Cashew Processing Presence in India

Afri Ventures, part of the Kewalram Chanrai Group, is an international agribusiness engaged in agricultural commodity sourcing, trading, and processing. Through its Afcott operations, the company has continued to expand its cashew processing presence across Africa and Asia, investing in facilities that support local value addition and industrial development.

The newly inaugurated facility in Andhra Pradesh, India, represents the latest step in this expansion. With an annual processing capacity of 20,000 MT of raw cashew nuts (RCN), the factory is positioned to strengthen local processing capabilities and contribute to the development of the regional cashew industry.

Beyond its production capacity, the project is also expected to generate new employment opportunities for local communities, supporting economic activity and creating opportunities for workers in the surrounding region.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Shri Kondapalli Srinivas, Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of Andhra Pradesh, who officially inaugurated the facility. During the event, he highlighted the project’s potential to support regional economic development and create employment opportunities for local youth and farming communities.

CMV and Afri Ventures: A Partnership Across Three Countries

The inauguration in India also represents another important milestone in the ongoing partnership between CMV and Afri Ventures.

The collaboration began with Afcott Côte d’Ivoire in 2023, where CMV supplied cashew processing machinery to support the company’s operations in West Africa. This was followed by Afcott Vietnam in early 2026, further extending the partnership into Southeast Asia.

Most recently, CMV continued its collaboration with Afri Ventures by supplying cashew processing machinery for the newly inaugurated facility in India.

Spanning Côte d’Ivoire, Vietnam, and India, these three projects demonstrate the continued cooperation between the two companies across different processing markets and operational environments.

For CMV, being selected as a machinery supplier across multiple projects reflects the importance of maintaining consistent equipment quality, technical expertise, and an understanding of the evolving requirements of industrial cashew processing.

Supporting the Continued Development of the Global Cashew Industry

As the global cashew industry evolves, investments in modern processing equipment and efficient production systems remain essential to improving productivity, strengthening operational performance, and increasing value addition in producing and processing countries.

Through its collaboration with Afri Ventures, CMV continues to contribute to these developments by providing cashew processing machinery that supports the operational needs of industrial processing facilities.

The inauguration of the new factory in India is therefore more than the completion of another project. It represents the continuation of a partnership developed across three countries, built on mutual trust, technical cooperation, and a shared commitment to advancing cashew processing.

CMV sincerely congratulates Afri Ventures and the entire project team on the successful inauguration of the new facility. We look forward to strengthening our partnership and supporting Afri Ventures’ continued growth in international markets.
