Accumulated in the first 7 months of 2018, cashew nut exports totaled 207.6 thousand tons, valued at 1.98 billion USD, reflecting an increase of 10.8% in volume and 7.5% in value compared to the same period in 2017.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in the first 15 days of August, the average export price of cashew nuts reached 10,015 USD per ton, up 12.6% compared to the first 15 days of July 2018, and up 18.3% compared to the same period in August 2017. From the beginning of the year until mid-August 2018, the average export price of cashew nuts stood at 9,859 USD per ton, representing an increase of 4% over the same timeframe in 2017, highlighting steady market performance.
